Workshop Policies

At A Better Place to Bead we offer workshops every Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During our workshops we teach the basic techniques of jewelry making. We also have workshops to teach specific techniques and how to make specific types of jewelry.

Basic Jewelry


Dates:

  • Saturday, July 7th - 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Instructor: Imelda Castro

Workshop fee: FREE

Projects: 1 pair of earrings, 1 necklace (supplies not included)

Description: Begin your beading experience in this fun and informative class. You will learn about the different basic stringing techniques, materials, findings and tools. .






Wire Wrap Trio

Description: In this class you will learn how to wrap a briolette drop and turn it into a beautiful pendant using the wire wrapping technique. If your style is simple and elegant you must take this class.






Leather Bracelet

Sweet Connections Necklace

Description: In this class you will learn how to assemble your necklace using a mixture of different techniques like: basic stringing, simple loops and wire wrapping. Also learn how to use metal connectors as focal points, with a variety of beads for a beautiful result.
